Every listing in this shop is a send-in postal service. Once ordered, we email you packing instructions and our workshop address — most jobs are completed and returned same-day on arrival, fully tracked.

Dropping a BMW engine into something else means the ECU keeps looking for an immobiliser module that is no longer there. IMMO off removes that handshake on the bench so the engine starts on its own loom.

Immobiliser deactivated inside the ECU so the engine runs without the original CAS, FEM, BDC or EWS module. Built for engine swaps, kit cars, boat and plant conversions, race cars and off-road builds. £200 on its own, or £100 when added to a 1:1 cloning order.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Is this a way to start a stolen car?

    No, and we will not treat it as one. IMMO off is for engines being used outside their original vehicle — swaps, conversions, plant and race builds. We ask what the build is, and we refuse anything that looks like theft recovery of a complete car.

    Will the car still be secure afterwards?

    The factory immobiliser no longer protects that engine, so on a road-going vehicle we would normally fit a separate immobiliser instead. That is exactly why this is sold for swaps and off-road builds rather than as a fix for a lost key.

    Can it be reversed?

    Yes. Your original file is archived, so the standard immobiliser function can be restored at any time.
