Service Overview
- This service covers VAG MQB instrument clusters built around NEC35xx processors — both Continental/VDO and Johnson Controls (JCI) hardware, including BGA colour-screen and LCD-screen variants. If your dashboard is locked, OBD security access is blocked, or all keys are lost, the data is taken directly from the cluster on the bench.
- Covered work: EEPROM/MCU data extraction, immobiliser block recovery, component security (CS) retrieval, key slot & key ID reading, VIN and sync data recovery, cluster replacement IMMO transfer, ECU/cluster pairing and sync repair, plus full all-keys-lost solutions.
- Also supported: older 4th-generation immobiliser dashboards listed below (Polo 6R/6RF, Passat 56D, Lavida, Santana, Skoda Rapid/Fabia/Kamiq) where the immo data lives in the cluster rather than the MQB CS block.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I check my cluster is supported?
Read the part number from the cluster label (for example 5G1920740B or 8V0920860E) and match it against the support list on this page. If it is marked RH850 it is not supported on this service — send us the reg and we will advise the correct route.
What is the difference between VDO and JCI clusters?
They are the two main MQB cluster manufacturers (Continental/VDO and Johnson Controls). Both are supported, but they use different board layouts and adapters — BGA colour-screen JCI units need extra bench work, which we handle in-house.
Why does the price vary on VAG all-keys-lost?
Pricing depends on the setup: KESSY/proximity systems cost more than blade keys, and manual vs automatic changes the work needed because of component security (CS) code requirements. Send your registration and we will confirm the exact price before you commit.
Can you help if OBD access is blocked?
Yes. Locked or protected MQB dashboards are read directly on the bench, so blocked OBD security access is not a barrier.
