How much is the kit?
£499 on sale, down from £599. The 4G LTE antenna, SIM and smartphone app (remote start from your phone, GPS tracking) is +£49. Professional fitting by MCCoding starts from £199 depending on model and location.
Do I need Comfort Access already?
No. The kit works on cars with or without factory Comfort Access. On cars that already have it, our module takes over Comfort Access control — some factory behaviours such as mirror fold on lock can act slightly differently afterwards. That is normal and not a fault.
Does it need coding?
No coding is required. Each module is configured on our bench for your exact year, make, model and body style, then it is a plug-and-play install into the existing wiring.
Will remote start work on a manual?
Yes, with a caveat. Remote start needs the clutch to be engaged without the pedal, so an installer adds a relay for that. Always leave the car out of gear. Keyless entry and the app work fully on manuals regardless. Automatic and DCT cars need nothing extra.
Can I fit it myself?
Many customers do — an install guide is emailed on purchase and video walkthroughs are linked. It is vehicle wiring work though, so if you are not confident, take our fitting option from £199 and we will wire, configure and test it for you.
What about convertibles?
E93 and E64 convertibles get full window roll-up and roll-down on lock/unlock, but the kit cannot operate the soft-top or hardtop mechanism itself.
Does it affect the factory alarm?
On some cars the siren/alarm circuit has to be rerouted or given up for remote start to work reliably. If keeping the factory siren is critical to you, tell us first — professional fitting is required to attempt to retain it.
How long before it ships?
Each kit is programmed to your vehicle before dispatch, so allow roughly 7–9 working days. UK-wide insured tracked delivery.
Anything to watch after fitting?
When you next change the car battery, unplug the control module power feed (red wire) first. Leaving it connected during a battery swap can short and damage the module.
